Our Soft Opening

It’s an exciting time for martial arts enthusiasts. Our new academy had its soft opening this past Monday to welcome students and martial arts practitioners of all levels. The academy is a place where people come together to pursue their passion for movement, mind, and spirit. Endeavor Martial Arts promises to offer top-notch training, expert instructors, and a safe and supportive community that fosters growth and excellence.

As the head instructor I am excited to bring my 10+ years of experience teaching martial arts, and continue to grow with the students. We are passionate about our craft and are dedicated to helping students reach their full potential. We welcome everyone, and have experience teaching students with Autism, ADD, and ADHD.

The day of the event

At our soft opening we had the kids put on their kickboxing uniform and jump right into class. The day of the event our school was filled with kids and adults alike. We started with a light warm-up of jumping jacks, then we loosened up our muscles with standing and sitting stretches. After that we had everyone partner up for our strength conditioning with high five push-ups. The students moved on to learning a kickboxing combination and practiced with partners using pads.

After the water break it was time for a quick mat chat. We discussed responsibility and how it can be applied to a theme park. The students showed us what not to do, like making loud noise and cutting in line. One student brought up taking care of their own belongings. Soon enough there were many other students wanting to share their stories of responsibilities.

Then it was game time! The younger students went on to play a dodging game with their partner. The teens and adults focused on adding in blocking and defense to their knowledge. Everyone was laughing and having a great time. It was so exciting to see that the students pick up on cool new moves.

The games and activities

We then lined up the class and went over all the material that was covered in the class, and made our final bow. The kids were very excited when the bean bag toss was being brought out. The game helped them practice their timing and accuracy. They had even more fun with the balloons. They loved how long they could keep balloons in the air using their different punches and kicks. The games and activities were a smash hit!

Our classes include not only kickboxing, muay thai, and boxing, but Brazilian Jiu Jitsu too.
